Five Boroughs Pizzeria Cincinnati

I am a regular at Five Boroughs pizza and have been fairly happy with it so far. The pizza is the best around in my opinions and I love their garlic sauce. Chicken wings are not the best, but not bad either(about what I would expect from a New York style pizza place). Garlic knots are pretty good as well. As I said I love the pizza and the only reason I didn't give 5 Boroughs a 5 star review is one bad experience I had on a pickup order. I ordered a pizza for pickup about an hour in advance on my ride home from Dayton and when I arrived to pickup I was informed by the owner that he had forgot about the order. I kindly replied that it was okay, mistakes happen and I would wait patiently for my pizza. I even told him that I have been talking up his pizza around town and it was the best around and that's why I was willing to wait. As I was waiting I saw one of his employees that was waiting on a table apologize for their wait and tell them that she would throw in their garlic knots for free. When my pizza was ready and I went up to pay I was not offered any type of discount for my wait or any apology or anything. I didn't make a fuss about it because I have spoken with the owner before who he seems like a nice guy and I had been happy with the service up until this point. I have been there several times since and have not had any further complaints. Despite that isolated incident with 5 Boroughs I would still highly recommend it if you are looking for the best NY style pie around.
